My Konicas are 25 years old now. They will still be very usable for hypers
and all non-sports subjects. After this amount of time some connections and
other factors are now less than reliable.
Yes, Ron, the lenses are a problem. They are not useable on the Ricoh. My
reason for going Ricoh is to make a fresh start with sports action. I will
simply buy lenses for sports (say 135 & 200mm). The other reason is that I
have been lucky enough to find a technician who can do a top master/slave
synch job which is something one only dreams about. He will only do it IF I
guarantee not to refer any other customers! I have already seen and tested
a sample job.
