Olivier Cahen 02 Sep 2000 answered:
Re: Digest Number 224
...the viewer made by Taylor-Merchant, 212W 35th St., New
York, NY...

However, Taylor-Merchant makes several viewers.
The book viewer meant by Olivier is the "Stereopticon 707".
Answering Linda Nygren I have posted comments on it on
26 Jun 2000.
(It was in P3d Digest 143, but I know that many P3d
subscribers don't get digests or don't save them.
Referring to a Digest as subject, like Olivier does,
seems confusing, please use a meaningful subject.)

Taylor-Merchant has a web site:
http://www.stereopticon.com

A note from the terminology police (:-)):
"Stereopticon" is a misnomer, the word was used for a
MONO lantern projector around 1900. And "stereoptican"
(with an a) is just a misspelling, I suppose.
