I let it sit for at least 3 hours, but have gone longer. Remember, you
are actually trying to combat 2 types of curl: The curl that comes from
the film being wound and spooled in the cassette and the curl that causes
cupping across its width.

Incidentally, while getting one of my Realist Cutters ready to sell, I
came across several rolls of processed film that had been put away for
probably years. Still not real problems with mounting after reverse
rolling.
