Yes, the Stereogler software by Jim Crowell is quite nice.  

You can use it in interleaved format with the shutter glasses they 
sell at 3d.com.  The dongle takes care of interleaving the video, so 
they work with Macs and PCs both.  (Assuming your Mac has a standard 
VGA video connector.  Older one's don't.)

Good luck interfacing with Cinema4D.  You will have to render both 
sides separately and create the JPS or interleave them yourself.  
Cinema won't do it.  If you could write an interleaving app, C4D can 
automatically launch and post process, though.

I created a stereoscopic camera for Cinema4D that has automatic 
interaxial.  The video it makes is pretty interesting, because the 
stereo effect remains strong during zooms, macros, pans and dolly 
shots.
