[photo-3d] Provia 100F color shift?

Upon investigating Provia 100F at a local store today, I found
that it is a professional film requiring refrigeration.
How critical is refrigeration for this film? Especially since
I have been using different kinds of film for different
applications (mainly Kodachrome 64 and 200, and just finished
trying a roll of Kodachrome 25 again), I find that the film may
stay in the camera from two to three months. In general, shooting
more film and having it processed is not an option for me
financially. I shoot about 10 rolls a _year_.
If there is a significant color shift with 100F that is not
refrigerated, it may prove to be the deciding factor in
even trying out this film until I absolutely must, which
will be _if_ Kodachrome ever becomes unavailable, which I
think may _never_ happen. While nothing is guaranteed a niche
market (there are some things not made any longer), we do
live in a world of niche markets, and Kodachrome is highly
regarded by a lot of people.
The convenience and speed of having the 100F processed at
the 4-hour lab 4 blocks from here means little or nothing
to me. Having a sharp, archival image with natural colors
means everything.
OTOH, if 400F does indeed become available, and is as good
as I hear, I might well stuff it into a Nimslo--it would
give me that extra stop I need for shooting pictures without
flash under the lights available in this building, given the
Nimslo's f/5.6 lenses and 1/30 bottom shutter speed, _if_ it
can handle fluorescent the way Kodachrome 200 can.
Thanks for any thoughts you have on a possible color shift
for non-refrigerated Provia 100F.
