This came up a few months ago, but for anyone who missed it...  I've given
the Elvira plastic viewer as gift several times.  I believe this is
available from Duncan Woods or Steve Berezin for under $10.00.  I used hot
glue to attach it to a battery operated flourescent lamp available from Home
Depot for about $5.00.  Costs a bit more, but the results are far superior
