[photo-3d] Re: Spicer mount problems w/ Brackett projector

I was looking for a slide that was tilted when projected and couldn't find
any as I had fixed them all with a piece of tape on the right side of the
long taped side. So I created one to show to Jon G. and Bob B. I took an
empty 8perf Spicer mount, folded it over, then taped only 1/2 of the
length. Then I curled the free end so that there was a 1/8" gap at that
end. When I loaded it, the untaped end did not go to the center of the Vee
bar at the top, but instead straddled it. This is what caused the tilt. A
similar problem was caused by loose taping of one end, as the slide would
separate at one end when inserted.
That is my current theory, but we will see what Jon & Bob say on Sunday.
Regards -Ralph
