Don't print 4x6's much -- mostly just "mounted" holmes stereocard pairs,
but the cost for 4x6's is probably about that. A more proper comparison
would be their 8x10 prices. A 4x6 doesn't quite hold a holmes stereo-pair,
although close.

However, considering postage is 33-cents, I'm surprised they'd print one for
you and mail it to you for the price of just the stamp, that'd mean that they
do the print (and handling) itself for free! That's good!

My printing is low-volume and focussed, I don't do volume where things
like postage can be amortized better. Like I said, it's only
done the night before deadline. What is your supplier's price for
one hour home delivery? :-)

I really don't care about shaving cents (photos are taken with an RBT
camera for goodness sake!), I just want it reasonably priced, high in
quality, and instantly delivered. Do I ask for much? No! :-)

P.S. - The Alps is also good for low-volume printing because there are no
jets to get clogged, and no liquid-anything to dry out. Too bad that
Alps is inept selling things through retail and have droppped retail selling their
printers in the U.S. (still selling OEM'd to Okidata, I think, in some countries).
