One of the advantages of shooting with twin 35mm SLRs is that you if you get
your slides mounted you can immediatly preview them in a 2 X 2 viewer; I
have an Elvira viewer hot-glued to a Home Depot flourescent lamp that I use
for this. Once mounted in Realist format mounts I view them in my beloved
Themelized Red Button viewer. There are other factors worth mentioning with
regard to exposures and rating film: how you meter (I use an incident light
meter and take the Ricoh's reflective meter as a second opinion) how much
contrast there is in your shots and even how accurate your camera's shutter
speeds are. To be more specific I would say that my exposures with Provia
100F rated at 320 and pushed 2 stops were similar to what I get with Sensia
100 rated at 100. I recall that you've pushed ProviaF100 in your Sputnik -
did rating it at 400 work well? Jim Harp
