This reminds of some "3D" computer games I saw on the ferry to france a few
years ago. You were supposed to be able to try them out but kids playing
with them had run the batteries down. The screen was quite thick and seemed
to consist of two or more LCD screens although its possible that the
furthest screen was just a fixed printed background. Although they only
cost about fourteen pounds sterling I was not sufficiently tempted to buy
one of the sealed non demonstration ones without seeing one working.
