I should point out that often 56K does not mean 56K - In fact, seldom
will a 56K modem run full out. This has to do with your system, the phone
line conditions and the fact that the Telephone Company frowns on running
at maximum. You can probably find the AT Command that changes this, but
be prepared for a phone call from the phone company. I agree with Robert
Brand - DSL is the way to go. BTW: Good Advice, Robert.

I got spoiled because I had a T1 at work, but sadly, no longer.
