[photo-3d] Synching two Pentax ZX-Ms

About a month ago I asked the board how to synchonize two Pentax
ZX-Ms. The easiest route seemed to be using a pair of spliced cable
switch fs. The electronic cable switches cost about $25 each. I had a
local camera repair store splice them together (cost about $12 for
labor) and went out and shot a roll on a mount with a camera
separation of about 3 feet.

It worked great. The synch that I can see was excellent with all
the exposures (one with a motor boat speeding by). I can get a
maximum of about 6 feet separation now but can get more with an
extender. It's hard to think of an easier way to synch two SLRs for
stereo hypers.

Anyone using this setup?

John
