Jon,
I have used Powerpoint to give presentations using anaglyph images. As a
matter of fact I'll be doing just that in Tucson,AZ this week at a
conference on Blood Spatter Pattern Analysis.
I teach law enforcement, specifically crime scene investigation, and have
used anaglyph images with no problems, EXCEPT. There are some individuals
who can not see 3D and the anaglyph images with the glasses seem to give
them a head ache, at the every least eye strain. While I have found those
numbers to be low, they still exist. Some of your audience may not be able
to see the images in 3D.
The rest of the audience LOVES IT!

Is there a web site that describes how to make anaglyphs on your
computer?
Also, it's become common for speakers at business presentations to
use laptop computers at the podium while projecting their talk on a
reverse projection screen using PowerPoint or other like software. I
would guess that stereoscopic images in the form of red/blue
anaglyphs could be successfully projected in the same way. Anyone
have experience or thoughts on this?
Thanks.
