Now, the same person (Hugo deWijs) has designed both viewers.
Both viewers are made from machined aluminum.
What exactly is there in the VM viewer that bothers you?

That's not an important factor... what is important is the
spacing of the lenses in relation to the infinity separation
of the stereo images.
