The cover of my copy says "Special Olympic Commemorative Issue" in the
upper left corner. By the ISSN bar code is says "October 18, 2000
Display until 11/10/00". The table of contents says "October 18, 2000
Volume 93, No.16". The editorial (in part) says "... this special
Olympic commemorative issue, which SI subscribers are receiving in
addition to their regular weekly edition of SI."
I would think that any store that has already sent this issue back has
made a mistake.
By the way, I think this issue was much better than the swimsuit
issue. The stereo effect in both the articles and the ads was much
better.
