[photo-3d] Converting a Fed Projector to 110v

Thanks to all who kindly responded to my origional question
about the Fed projector. With a friend's help, I am attempting to
modify one to work at 110v. Has anyone else tried this? As far
as I understand it, this would involve replacing the fan motor and
a circuit board which is responsible for dimming the lights on
startup to lessen the shock of immediate power, as well as
replacing the bulbs. Is there anything else that we would need to
do? What components did you use to replace the origional
fan/dimmer/bulbs? (Are there any readily available Radio Shack
parts which we could use?)

Failing all of this, I have noticed that Radio Shack does sell a
converter which is capable of handling the 450 watt which the
projector require. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I will gladly post the results of our experimentation.

Once again, thanks in advance to all who respond.
