Granted, prints from slides is much better, but only to a point. High /
Best possible quality takes effort and effort takes cost. Many things
happen when you make a print from a slide. Contrast is a big issue.
Controlling problems like this takes some effort.
For most, perfectly adequate quality is indeed possible. However, best
quality will cost you. If you know you absolutely want prints, always
used color negative stock. You can have great slides made from the negs.
