Look at

See the socket labled "special applications"?  AF@'s are the immediate prior 
generation of Ektagraphic projectors, so they may not have this socket...if 
they DO have it, I think that is where the answer lies.

It has been a while (quite a while, actualy) and my memory is failing me.  I 
will try to research this.
