This was a headline in the Warwick Boar the student union paper at the University where I work. The cover which has a related photograph describes it as "Europes first 3D cinema" but then the article is a little more accurate as "A new 3D cinema the first of its kind in Europe" which was launched last tuesday the 24th. I am not shure if it is 3D in our sense of the word as Sun microsystems are involved and it is supposed to employ the largest "3D" capable screen ever as well as a "fully virtual reality Cybersphere". This is the illustration and I have seen this featured on a TV programme, you stand inside a large translucent sphere on which the images are back projected, I dont think this is stereo but the person in the illustration is wearing glasses of some type and apears to be holding his hands up to an invisible barrier. As you move in the sphere it rolls in all directions like the toy for hamsters and acts as a giant "Tracker Ball" changing the view as would happen in re!
