True there have been many life size anaglyphs but the key difference in the
ones mentioned in this thread is that the anaglyph AND real world object
(scene) would be available for direct comparison.

For example printing a life size anaglyph of a table scene and then placing
the anaglyph in front of the real world scene. Of course one doesn't really
have to print it full size. One can print it smaller and just have the
anaglph
print brought closer. This would require readjusting the overlap of the left
and right images and might increase ghosting.

I guess the ultimate would be one of Boris's life size phantograms (the one
with the female model) placed on the floor and the model striking her pose
in the same physical 3-D space!
