There is a PC plug to the right of the shutter button.  There are no 
treads, it just pushes on. I tried my PC cord on it and it fits. I 
haven't used it yet since the camera needs work.  You can mount the 
flash on a bar that will attach to the camera at the tripod socket 
(treaded 1/4 20) or mount it off camera if you like.  You will need a 
flash that uses a PC cord or a PC to hot shoe adaptor.
