Yes. I also find SuddenDepth to be interesting. The ability to view
oversized images in interlaced mode creates new options for me. One
can pan around in a large image. The interface is more complex, but it
is good for spending time panning in a single image.

This is helpful. If is hard to see one's site from the outside in unless
one is outside.

I can't even get a good connect to my home pages tonight! ATT has been
short on delivery recently. All of these links worked for me when I
checked them last night. The images are 10 seconds to open after the htm
page and 15 seconds for me to download. Netscape works better with
DepthCharge.

Yes. Boris made this point before and I have yet to reverse these. I
have been thinking of removing some anaglyphs to provide more web space.
DepthCharge does anaglyph display mode. My pages need to be attended to
this winter.

The .jps standard was developed by VRex and reinforced by the free
DepthCharge software. The Photonics West 3D conference (chaired by list
member Andrew Woods) had a meeting on standards ('95?). Vrex people,
Stereo Graphics, NuVision and others agreed to the VRex proposal for
this standard. I handed out some CDs with .jps images to Lenny Lipton
and others. All have since written their software to accept the .jps
standard. It is no longer rocket science, it's just a good way to
handle stereo. The common platform is useful to web surfers,
manufactures, and content providers.
It has required a level of cooperation to create a new form of art,
recreation, and businesses. Content providers needed VRex to provide a
single platform and they did. Perhaps it is a bit of personal history
that affects my slang use of "DepthCharged" rather than the less
descriptive and more cryptic .jps I may be slow to drop this habit.
However, if you do not get to preview my image on my embed page if I
have the http://www.vrex.com/depthcharge/ plugin tag I will remove
the tags in the future.
so is this way better?:
