[photo-3d] Third Friday Stereo Dinner tomorrow

This is getting to be FUN!
A nice crowd of smart, interesting people have been frequenting the
Stereo Dinner. What started out as a happy accident in Richmond in
1998 has become a pleasant monthly gathering of stereo enthusiasts in
Manhattan. Why don't you come tomorrow night?
I have some new medium format slides to share. They don't suck.
Recently Jim Harp has been a fountain of new stereoscopic views and
prints. He practically needed his own table last month. And our
resident stereo encyclopedia Brian Reynolds has some tasty pics he
has taken over the past few months. I saw some last week. They're
nice. Bring along some photos or slides and a viewer and join the
fun! If you don't have views of your own, look at ours!
Of course, the best part is the conversation. Pleasant people,
chatting up a storm, stories and tips. It's a real hum-dinger.
We always meet on the *third Friday* of every month at La Cocina, at
85th and Broadway. The food is really excellent, and I'm not usually
a big fan of Mexican food. It's nicely decorated upstairs and down,
and the food is not at all expensive. There are several good, big
meals on the menu for under ten bucks.
We might be hard to see because we often get a seculded section all
to ourselves. Some room to spread out, YES, in Manhattan. The
hostess will cheerfully point us out, we're treated as special guests.
Always the 3rd Friday. Join us tomorrow, November 17, at La Cocina,
217 West 85th Street, just off Broadway in Manhattan. 6:30pm or
7:00pm is good, or anytime.
Cordially,
Tom Deering
