Greetings,
I recently received a catalog from H&R company (surplus stuff)
with a listing for Revere Stereo Camera Lens. I've seen them
before at various times. Just curious, how come these lens
keep showing up in the surplus market? Are they of any use
in hacking? Any examples out there? I picked up a couple of
units, but the salesman said there were plenty in stock if
anyone is interested. The ad (below) says the items are "removed
from equipment". Did someone REALLY take apart a bunch of
stereo cameras?

the ad reads:
"REVERE 35MM STEREO CAMERA LENS F3.5,F4,F5.6,F8,F11,F16,F22
Revere Synchromatic stereo lens. Timed shutter speeds from
hold open to 1/200 second. This is a very high quality lens
system. All shutter mechanisms are operable and in excellent
condition. O/A size 2.220"Hx4.670"D with four 0.110" mounting
holes. 4-1/2"x3"x3". Removed from equipment."
item # TM980PT3157
price $16.95
