I agree with Ray Moxom's suggestion of the Ricoh XR or KR-10M. I've 
been using a pair of these for about a year and a half, shooting all 
kinds of moving subjects and action with great success.  I have some 
examples and details about Ray's technique for wiring the shutters
for synchronization  in "Jim's twin XR-10M" folder in the P3D files 
section:

I've heard rumors that a more elaborate technique for perfectly 
twinning these Ricohs has been discovered somewhere in the Southern 
hemisphere...
