The think time gets shorter and shorter. I did very well with my old 4.5.
I'm still experimenting to get a feel for the correct time/aperture.

Not necessarily. I was a messenger for AP wirephoto as a kid. That is why I
bought my first camera, and it was the photographer's advice that I didn't
need all that stuff. Back then, the Speed Graphic era, they had no automatic
aids, and they took some great action pictures. I would suggest looking at
the work of Weege (sp?), for what you can do with a large, non automatic
camera. You even had to change film after every shot. I think the Joe Pesci
movie was called Naked Eye, but there was a lot more to his work than the
stuff in the movie.
