I've been using a pair of Rebel X cameras for about 4 years, and have been quite satisfied. I use the Canon 35-80 zoom lenses, and have no problem setting equal focal lengths. I linked them with a system of industrial toothed belting cemented around the zoom rings on the lens barrels, driven by matched toothed belting cemented around nylon idler wheels that contact both lens barrels -- that when I zoom either one, the other rides right along with it. Since exposure (I use aperture priority) and focus are both automatic, all I have to worry about is composition and widow placement. Shutter synch is generally perfect, although some conditions can and do fool the system and cause one camera to fire while the other is still "hunting." But generally, synch is right on the button, even with flash.
