I assume you mean locally. For most people I guess Scala means mail
order film purchases and mail order film processing. If you're
willing to do mail order neither should be too difficult.

If you don't want to do the developing yourself (There are a couple of
kits available and some recipes on-line), there is a (mail order) lab
that will do B&W reversal processing. Their web page is
<URL:http://www.dr5.net/>. They work on a variety of film and provide
film speed settings for the different films and developer
combinations.

When I sent my 35mm film to Kodak for processing (of astro slides) I
just wrote "Do Not Cut" in the "Special Instructions" box on the
mailer.

visits to the New York Stereoscopic Society.
