The only issue I have heard about related to "grey market" items is in
regard to leaving the US with film and cameras in hand and then returning
with US Customs checking your supplies - I believe you would be hit with
import duties on items "obviously purchased while you were out of the country".

I have bought grey market film and haven't noticed a difference and I have
never taken a trip outside of the states that I have taken any film with me
other than US - so I'm not sure how true this all may be.
