When I bought the 5x7 stereo glass negatives on e-bay (6 for $10), I had no
idea how I would I print them. Then I had to buy a new scanner and bought
the one Dave Kessner just got, an Epson 1640SU photo. This one has a 4x5"
transparency adaptor which just happens to fit one end of the 5x7 stereo
pair. I scanned it at 300dpi, turned it around and scanned the other end,
then printed it out as a 5x7" stereo view. I have uploaded the two best
ones. The one of the little girl turns out not to be stereo, the
photographer took the images individually. What a shame. The one of the
stream bed has a nice stereo effect and good contrast (after adjusting in
PhotoPaint).

The third upload is a hyper view of Spider Rock in Canyon deChelly in NE
AZ. Taken with an Olympus C3030 at about 10' stereo base.

These views are 800 pixel in width and view best with an Omniscope fresnel
lens type viewer. There is an ad in Stereo world for it. With a large
monitor, the side-by-side VueMagic will do a better job but only works at a
fixed size.

To view, go to the eGroups files section and click on "Ralph Johnston".
There are three uploads there. Tomorrow I will add a couple of "fisheye
hypers" taken with 16mm Zenitar's on a 14" base and scanned on a PrimeFilm
1800dpi scanner.
