I agree completely with George.  When I first started using my 
Realist, I used the rangefinder for every shot.  Sure, they all came 
in nice and sharp!  That was back in 1995 or '96.  Since then I've 
gone to the hyperfocal method and haven't used the rangefinder once 
since.  How are the pictures?  Just as sharp as when I used them.  
Most of my pictures are taken in bright sun (looks best to me that 
way), so I set the camera at f:16 1/100 and focus at 8 ft.  Everything 
from 4ft. to infinity is in focus and I've forgotten all about using 
the rangefinder since.  Much easier and very much faster!
