Of course this all depends on what camera you use. If you using a 50's
camera ISO 400 is likely to be useless in most daylight situations because
at your highest shutter speed and smallest apature you will still overexpose
the film.

On the other hand, you can put some Provia 400F in there, (maybe pushed one
stop to 800) and try using fast shutter speeds AND small apertures...
