OOPS ...................
 I'm corrected:What I think I meant was, reaction time is too slow to
catch lightning. Were the lighting is most active, set your camera on a
tripod, open the shutter and catch two or three bolts. 
 BTW: I highly recommend " The Kodak Master Photoguide" if it is still in
print.
