[photo-3d] Creating Ice Effect

One of my favorite images using disparity technique I call the " ice"
effect.......I posted this last year. I took a photo of a winter scene
by shooting from inside the house, through the window, using the window
frame to frame the image........a standard technique.
I took a piece of diffuser material from a broken Viewmaster viewer,
trimmed a piece, and mounted it over top the right image chip. ( not
behind the image, but in front of the image on the front side of the
mount) The effect is awesome! The disparity creates the effect of ice on
the window......but a clearer, more transparent ice similar to an ice
cube. The clarity of the left image offers the detailed sharpness, while
the right image is super-diffused. This disparity does not bother me so
much as I enjoy the effect. Try it!
Take the entire piece of diffuser and stick one end down into the viewer
covering 1 chip.
