I've seen some prints Dan Shelley has made on Epson film, and there's
no doubt that this expensive stuff makes an amazing difference.
I'm anxiously awaiting a less pricey alternative "film". While
getting prints done on a Fuji 370 is a bargain for 4" X 6"s, once you
want to produce larger print sizes the Epson 750 and similar ink-jet
printers become more attractive, even with "film" costing $2.00 a
sheet and ink expenses. I won't buy any printer that has chips on
the cartridges that preclude third party inks, and I hope this
chipping doesn't become more prevalent.
