Dear friends,
I possess several stereo viewers among which the Comby viewer made by Hugo de Wijs. Great viewer but it needs a light attachment. I never bought that because the price is about the same as for the viewer.
Recently however I bought this super flat fluorescence screen. It uses about 350 mA  (said the seller)works on 12 Volt. A few minutes ago I connected it to a transformer and I became very enthusiastic.
It has been a part from a computer and perhaps it is for many P3D members a good idea. 
Within the screen I saw a very thin fluorescence tube placed at the board of the screen.
