3D-AV FACILITIES DURING PAPER PRESENTATIONS

As in past years there will be a wide range of stereoscopic 3D projection
methods on show during the conference. We will have:
  * Stereoscopic video rear-screen projection
(we can accept NTSC VHS/SVHS/BetacamSP and PAL VHS/SVHS in
     field-sequential 3D - or boring 2D).
  * Stereo 35mm slide projection (onto a silvered screen).
  * Ability to project Stereojet transparencies onto a silvered screen.
  * Computer-based Stereoscopic projection (onto the large rear screen)
Polarised 3D glasses will be provided.
Indications are there will again be plenty of good 3D to see!

DEMONSTRATION SESSION - FINAL CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

The demo session this year will be held in conference room "J4"
 (Wednesday 24th January 2:30pm-5:00pm).

The demonstration session is always a good opportunity to see with your
own eyes new 3D display technologies and other related technologies.

SCREENING SESSION

On Monday evening we have organised a 3D Media Screening Session.
The aim of this session is to illustrate what 3D Video/Film/Animation
material is being exhibited to the public and/or being used
in industry. We currently have material from: Australia, Korea,
 Spain, Switzerland and USA.

CONFERENCE DINNER

As in previous years we will again be organising an informal conference
dinner. It will be on the Monday night after the 3D Screening session.
We will advise you of the venue during the conference.
Please note that there is no host (Sorry, no free dinner).

STANDARDS FORUM

Interested in stereoscopic imaging standards? Plan to attend this
forum/panel session scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

KEYNOTE PRESENTATION

This year our Keynote Presenter is Jeff Kleiser of Kleiser-Walczak
Construction Company (KWCC). Jeff's talk about the use of
stereoscopic CGI will include images from Universal's THE AMAZING
ADVENTURES OF SPIDER-MAN and the Robert Wilson/Philip Glass opera
MONSTERS OF GRACE along with work-in-progress images from Busch
 Gardens CORKSCREW HILL.

SHORT COURSE

The Stereoscopic Display Application Issues short course is
scheduled for the Sunday before the conference proper starts
(Sunday 21st January). This is a full day course but please note
that separate registration is necessary to attend this course.
