I just have to say AMEN to that!  Having only seen my own pathetic MF 
images taken with a Sputnik, my sharp Realist images are a giant step up...

I jumped in for a spud and a good viewer too, and just as quickly jumped 
out.  Personally I would probably go to the expense of having my camera 
adjusted, or get a better one but I've found several problems:  I find 
mounting them to be a nightmare.  I'm way too spoiled by RBT jigs and 
Spicer mounts to settle with futzing around with larger pieces of film 
trying to get them precisely aligned.

Also, I don't like the fact that I can't project them.  I know that the 
best viewing experience is with a good hand viewer, but I have a tremendous 
amount of fun inviting friends over to project my vacation slides. Too bad 
MF mounts won't fit in my TDC.  :-(

I think I got lucky in that my first Realist takes razor sharp 
photos.  It's also a system that allows easy, precise mounting, 
convenience, and the availability of high quality hand viewers and 
affordable projectors.  That's a package that's hard to beat at any price.
