I wonder if that is the case (people being in a
more relaxed mood on a Sunday evening and
spending more) with the auction that just
closed a few minutes ago. Check out,

The above auction was billed as, "A most useful
Stereo Realist accessory by DrT." The item in
question was a viewfinder level for your stereo
Realist.

Okay, granted this is a useful device but it went
for $179! Is this on the level? Are level pictures
worth that much? Why not just buy a Kodak?
Could it be this utilitiarian item is really a highly
coveted collectors item? If not, I think I will go
into the level making business!
