Hi all
I have had five sets (4 aa's) of the Rayovac rechargeable alkalines
for over two years and they are still going strong.I did loose two
batteries at the begining, probably duds, started leaking so i threw
them out,but the rest have been fine.
They work very well in my Vivitar 285 flash and not to bad in my
coolpix 990, although i prefer the hi capacity 1600mAh Ni-MH these do
loose on the shelf but charged before they are needed are the best.
I have three sets of four 1100 mAh Ni-MH (Varta Accuplus) which i got
the same time as the Alkalines and these have been fine but in my
camera they only last about half the time of the 1600.
The charger is a Saitek Eco (microprocessor controled)analyzes each
battery individually and continuously, even charges ordinary
duracells. Also had it about two years with no problems.
