Gabriel, thanks for your comments! One pixel shifted is the correct
answer for eliminating the color fringing. I neglected to say that when
free viewing the original image, the clouds are at the same depth as
Jeanie.
It may not look like it, but the color shifting is performed over the entire
image. On an image with more depth, the result would be for all features to
appear at their true depth. For example in Shab's image #5, the red and
blue letters would appear at the same depth. I will post more examples
illustrating this in the future.
This feature for correcting for chromatic aberration is now included in
version 1.4 of the PokeScope Image Manager software. Anyone who
has bought a previous version can e-mail me for an updated version
without affecting your rights to the future upgrade that I have promised.
In version 1.4, the user interface has been improved greatly and is
now more geared toward image editing. Also, many bugs have been
eliminated.
If you want the new version, be sure to remind me what version you
originally purchased.
