At a later date it is intended to publish the full 5 part series on coupling
Olympus XAs in master slave mode in Stereoscopy. Basically, the shutter
opening and closing solenoids are paralleled and the battery removed from
the slave camera. If you need the full details now - a crisp US$10 will give
you a one year SSCC email membership plus access to two years of PDF back
issues of the 20 page per issue '3D Window' bulletin as well as access to
many technical articles on 3D cameras and 3D history etc published before
that date. There are six issues per year. Membership info is at

details.

XAs are only available on the second hand market.
