[photo-3d] Final Scanner Test List

First, thanks to everyone who responded! =) Bob Aldridge has
volunteered to make us all slides to scan on our individual machines.
He has also volunteered to collect the original high-res images to
burn back to film to create a slide show for the Buffalo NSA
convention showing the result files per scanner.
To achieve this, he will be sending me a set of "identical" slides
which I will have to forward on to each of you. After scanning the
images in following a set of strict requirements/standards which we
will agree upon as a group, you will need to send the master images
back to me to be pulled together for the final web display, and to be
sent on to Bob to be re-burned to slides. This can either be done via
specifically timed electronic transfer (to not overload any systems
along the way) or via CDs burnt by some of you with that capability.
Maybe the final CD can even be made available for personal study...
Hum... =)
I am excited to see the final results and hope to have a solid cost
vs. features = results table to aid all of us and the rest of the P3D
group in any future hardware purchase decisions.
FYI - This is the final test list of scanners: (There were a few
duplicate volunteer systems... Let me know if you WANT to do this and
are not on this list and I will do my best...)

Bob, it looks like we will need 16 copies of the slide - is that too
much?? (Assumes you and I can use one and pass it along and counts
that two folks are doing two kinds of scans.)
Comments?
