>From Jon Grieg:

Jon Grieg from Special Interest Television (Burbank, California)
is planning to start a "Business Only 3D Showcase" on the Internet.
The idea is to facilitate rapid navigation for potential clients who
want to grasp quickly what 3D is all about, and what's the on-line
potential of stereography. We plan to showcase as many good
stereographers as possible, in four categories: "Anaglyph",
"Side-by-Side" (crossed), "Sequential", and "Equipment". Each
member's page will conform to a strict standard (for "instant
gratification" and simplicity), and will include 3-5 thumbnails,
a brief site description, and four navigation arrows. Once on that
page, the visitor has the option of enlarging the thumbnails, visiting
the member's site, or going further to the next page.

This way we have the best of both worlds: fast standard navigation,
AND variety (no restrictions imposed on individual websites
regarding their designs). The four categories (or "albums") will be
tied together in an Yahoo ringlet (for increased traffic), but below
that hub, each album is independent (to limit the reliance on Yahoo).
The thumbnail pages will be stored on Jon Grieg's website, and the
original images - on the members' sites. Only business-oriented sites
will be included (for hobby-related sites, the existing Stereoscopic
Ring at Ringsurf.com offers a better alternative).

If you would like to help create this business resource, or to offer
your 3D images for evaluation, please contact Jon Grieg at
mailto:JanMar01@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx You will get a reply in about two
weeks, as soon as more details are available. Thank you.
