Lets do the math:

Stereo base of 11mm times 30 equals 330 mm for the nearest object.

330 mm divided by 25.4 mm/inch = 12.99 inches.  

As long as the nearest object is no closer then 12.99 inches you are 
following the 1/30 rule.  Objects less then 12.99 inches away may be 
hard to fuse.
