Hello George,

I think I wasn't specific enough. In the majority of my shooting I
strive to avoid the movement of subjects, and am usually successful.
There are times when movement can't be avoided. For example, while in
London last year I got a very nice street shot, traffic was stopped
the only movement is way off in the distance as people walked. With
this distance it gives a feel of a busy city. In another example I
have a long shot of the Saturn V at Kennedy Space Center, the stereo
effect is very nice. The people walking under the rocket are dwarfed,
but are moving. I don't find it distracting since the main subject is
so over powering.

Many times I make use of the 'clone' tool in my image editor and
remove objects that move (when they're small enough).

So, yes in some images I find the effect of retinal rivalry
interesting and in others annoying.

Your answer is both encouraging and informative. I'll have to be very
careful what I submit for competitions.

Thanks,

Eric
