My first stereo picture was made after I happened across a description of
how to make them on an internet site shortly after I first got on line. It
must have been about 94 or 95. I built a platform that I could slide my 4x5
Graflex Crown Graphic on. I made about 4 pairs on a roll of B&W 120 film.
I have a 6x7 rollfilm back for this camera. I was very skeptical but wanted
to try anyway. I had a pair of lenses from my classroom that I used to view
the pairs after I printed them. I was amazed that my first set looked so
good that it had me hooked. That prompted me to get a KinDar, traded for a
Kodak and so on and so on.

This thread prompted me to dig those original pairs out and view them again.
Even though I really didn't know what I was doing at the time, I am still
impressed with them. I know I would mount them differently today, but there
is something nostalgic about the crude mounting on a sheet of cardboard.
