[photo-3d] Improving the Pentax splitter

Although my Chinese clone of the Pentax splitter performs quite
well in most situations, I encountered some cases where the image
quality suffered. This usually happened when the sun was in front
of the camera and was caused by reflections from the glossy black
plastics within the mirror chambers.
I managed to eliminate this problem by taping black flocked paper
on all relevant parts within the chambers. You can see an example
of these reflections and the improvement when using flocked paper
here:

I'm not really sure if the original Pentax splitter suffers from
the same problem, but the few samples I've seen looked practically
identical to the Chinese clone. I would appreciate feedback on this
topic.
