We are building a Stereo Projection Dome here at the School of
Architecture at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles). It

is a 20 foot diameter dome which will hang from the ceiling. We will
use slide projectors and computer projectors to help students visualize
3D architectural space.

We are amateurs at Stereo, and welcome any advice.

Our plan is to create the dome from fiberglas or acrylic panels, and
spray paint the inside of the dome with an aluminum-based paint. We will

use polarizing filters on the slide projectors and computer projectors.
Students will wear polarized glasses.

We are doing this project on a tight budget, and doing most of the work
ourselves.

Suggestions about paint types / finishes or other strategies regarding a

stereo dome are most welcome.

Please e-mail directly to me so as not to disturb the egroup list.
