        This is perfectly normal. Two rules must be applied for a convenient stereo photo of very close
objects:
1. The famous thirtieth rule, unless your foreground should be seen with a stretch distortion;
2. The differnce of on-film deviations of the foreground and the background should be less than 1.6 mm, unless
the image should be difficulet to fuse.
    Some people say 1.2 instead of 1.6, it depends how you look at your pictures. I use a limit of 1.6, it is
perfectly convenient in stereo projections for people seating at a distance over the double of the image
height on the screen; 1.2 is the limit for a stereoscope well matched to the Realist, with focus about 35 mm.
